How to get over a breakup & makeup for a breakup


Breakups ain’t nice or easy but we all go through them at some stages of our lives.
Some of us move on easily, some others don’t.
I had a fairly big breakup in my life not all that long ago, this and the wonderful people around me inspired me to write this post and share my knoweledge on how to get over a break up and spread my positivity on all the sad ladies and gents out there.

Step 1
It’s okay not to be okay
Whenever someone asks you if you’re okay you just nod and put on the biggest fake smile you possibly can ? Well DON’T ! First of all it gives you wrinkles and I guess you don’t want that. Second of all it makes you feel a lot lot worse.   Tell people that you feel like crap and cry if you feel like. Get that box ( or boxes ) of Ben&Jerrys watch sad romance movies, it really is okay not to be okay, we all need few downs to have those spectacular ups !

Step 2
Cut out the crap
Do you really want him/her and his/hers entire family as friends on facebook ? ehh I dont tink so. Their lives are not your business anymore, this will also help you to avoid those ‘what if’ moments. Throw away all the things you got from them and don’t need anymore
( unless they’re expensive, then give them to me ;) ) Don’t let the past overshadow the present!

Step 3
Treat yourself
Go to the nearest florist and get yourself the biggest and most beautfiul bunch of flowers you can find. Treat yourself to a facial or a massage. If you can’t afford to go to a beautician get a redy facemask in store and look up facial massage tutorials on youtube. You can try yoga as well. Treating your body and soul can really change your mindset and give you a boost of new positive energy.

Step 4
If you neglected your friends because you were too busy working on your relationship make it up to them and yourself. Invite them over ( this can tie in with step 1 i.e. you can eat ice creams and watch rom coms together) go out, don’t be afraid to meet new people. The best way to get over a breakup is to fall for someone new, and by that I don’t mean you finding a rebound but meeting a new friend or re-discovering how fabulous your friends are and how much you missed them.

Step 5
Move it on
There sure are things you wanted to do but didn’t have time or had some other excuse, I hate to break it to you but your time is running out so do it now remember it later!
Work on improving yourself as well , believe it or not working out does not only make your body look amazing but makes you happier thanks to endorphins produced during and after a workout . If you can’t afford gym go for a jog or download Nike Training App/ Look up easy workouts on youtube. Achieveing even tiny goal like loosing a pound will again give you a boost of positive energy and positive people attract other positive people ! J

Step 6
Be brave
Don’t be afraid to show people that you’re happy with where you are in life now. You worked really hard on the new better and happier you, don’t be ashamed to embrace how good you feel with yourself.

Step 7

And makeup for a breakup ! 
After a breakup you'd want to look fresh, happy and seducing ;) 
Instead of foundation I went for 2 coats of BB cream to add more glow to the skin.
Concealed all the things that needed to be concealed, filled in my brows, contoured the face with bronzer and dabbed a tiny bit of posie tint on the apples of my cheeks.
I drew very thin winged eyeliner line,  lashed on a good bit of mascara and filled my lips with the brightest lip pencil and lipstick I own to make them  more juicy.
I think you can't go wrong with this look and it is going to look good on everyone.
